Sustainability Technical Program Manager|
As the environmental challenges facing the world grow, so too has Microsoft’s commitment to ensuring that the company’s activities are in line with the best available science and the expectations of leading stakeholder communities. Microsoft’s Environmental Sustainability (ES) team coordinates overall science-based, measurable, and scalable sustainability investments and outcomes across the company – engaging with business groups to set goals related to reductions in the environmental impacts of business operations and positive environmental outcomes resulting from technology and policy development.
We have a lot of innovative and challenging work to complete in this area, so we need a strong Sustainability Technical Program Manager to join our team and take on these challenges directly and in collaboration with others.
We are looking for a Program Manager that is technically strong, excited about new challenges, comfortable with ambiguities, and willing to take on larger scope and ownership.
Technical Program Managers are focused on improving our technology solutions and programs. You work collaboratively with teammates to ensure our products and programs exceed customer expectations. You communicate throughout the process to understand progress towards delivery, technical challenges, and to provide clarity on customer needs using a data driven approach. You will be expected to demonstrate an ability to learn and adopt relevant new technologies, tools, methods, and processes to leverage in your programs. As a Sustainability Technical Program Manager, you are dedicated to helping Microsoft achieve its commitments to ensuring the company’s activities are in line with the best available science and expectations of leading stakeholder communities.
