Mobile Products Manager
Job Summary

In this role you will set the product strategy and roadmap for the Walgreens consumer mobile app product. You’ll put yourself in the consumer’s shoes to understand their needs and how they interact with our products. You will work with multiple cross-functional teams to elicit, understand, rationalize, and prioritize requests for new functionality. You will need to lead road mapping, goal setting, story writing, prioritizing, project execution, A/B testing, and product roll-out strategy. Hypothesize, measure and learn everything about the native app and our customers. Continuously test and leverage insights to inform decisions. Build relationships with key business partners and other brand stakeholders and serve as the internal and external evangelist for the native app. Collaborate with other stakeholders such as product marketing on the creation of positioning for your products. Be prepared to make decisions with imperfect information, know how to lead without authority and be comfortable managing chaos, ambiguity and complexity.

Job Responsibilities
  • Works with a cross functional teams to oversee Mobile App releases for the Walgreens mobile app(s)
  • Communicates mobile app and release updates with various Stakeholders across Walgreens
  • Collaborates with Global Product Managers across all mobile feature capabilities to align on great native solutions and product delivery
  • Writes and defines feature stories and maintain an organized product backlog for the native app
  • Manages the integration of the various partners both internal and external into releases of the mobile app(s)
  • Assists in story tracking and acceptance/prioritization during development.
  • Manages deployment/upgrade planning and coordination
  • Identifies and implements process efficiencies across systems and resources within the mobile app team
  • Reviews and prioritizes defects impacting customers.
  • Serves as a point-person for mobile app, and is able to dig deep into problems to help find a solutions.
  • Researches and identifies new mobile product opportunities and off-the-shelf solutions, and recommends enhancements to Walgreens existing product portfolio, such that each product effectively integrates into the Company’s current solution model.
  • Manages mobile product goals and associated metrics for assigned and/or specific products.
  • Conducts business and financial analyses to assess return on investment goals for program/product initiatives, including forecasting, monitoring and reporting.
  • Conducts consumer market research to support current and future Walgreens mobile products.
  • Builds and maintains documentation of new feature releases for market consumption.
  • Stakeholder management to influence our Digital and Engineering partners.
  • Works with the global product organization to ensure native best practices and innovation are prioritized along with other efforts

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of Product Management experience OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of product management experience
  • Knowledge of customer-facing, mobile applications
  • Knowledge of native software development tools and platform standard methodologies
  • Experience with quantitative analysis
  • Experience working with Objective-C/Swift and/or Kotlin
  • Experience in digital project and product planning, including feature/defect prioritization, trade-off processes, roadmap creation and timeline planning
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • At least one year of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross functional team leadership.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
