You will design and oversee the information architecture, enterprise data warehouse and the logical and physical data models of new applications. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to define how the structured and unstructured data will be stored, consumed, integrated/shared and reported by different IT application systems at GreenPath.

You Have:

Bachelor's degree in information systems discipline or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience working as an architect or equivalent role within data warehouse projects
Excellent knowledge & skills in data analysis, data modeling, data profiling, data management of structured and unstructured data.
Skilled in database design, from conceptualization to database optimization.
Data modeling experience and understanding of design methods including Normalization, Dimension Model, Start/Snowflake schema design and Ralph Kimberly Data Warehouse design.
Good understanding of Master data management and data quality concepts
Good understanding of data retention policies and procedures
Experience working with SSRS, SSIS, PowerBI Dashboard and SQL Server databases.
Experience with end-to-end data warehouse projects in both cloud and traditional ways.
A good understanding of SDLC, Security, IT Standards, Policies and Procedures
Optional: Microsoft Certifications

The Day to Day:

Responsible for defining how the company is structured and unstructured data will be stored, consumed, integrated/shared, retained, and reported by different IT application systems.
Facilitate design sessions with subject matter experts to Analyze Data Requirements and Design and Develop Data Structures contributing to the organizations’ data architecture.
Produce and maintain Logical and Physical Data Models with corresponding Data Dictionaries while following Guidelines, Standards, and Procedures.
Create and manage the cloud data strategy for the company. This includes Azure SQL Database, Azure Data warehouse, Data Lake, Data Factory, SSIS on Azure and other cloud storage services.
Manage central reporting and the analytics platform using Power BI Service (on cloud) and Power BI Premium Server (on premise)
Understand the business and build an enterprise model along with a central dictionary of standard common business vocabulary, define strategy/approach, & principles for data quality management, master data management, data integration, data security/access and data archiving & retention.
Apply sound architectural and technology concepts to address scalability, security, reliability, maintainability, retention, and sharing of enterprise data.
Work across stakeholders, application subject matter experts, application development and business leaders to understand needs, influence, and drive consistent data practices
Work with the ETL and Reports developers to deliver the dashboards and reports to different business units
