Job Description
Director, Network Engineering & Operations
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to provide strong leadership for the Network Engineering and Operations team, with a focus on automation, cloud networking and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead an international team of highly skilled Network Operations Engineers in a 24 x 7 cloud production environment
Hire and direct employees focused on meeting team objectives and fostering a continuous improvement mindset
Initiate new designs and projects that will facilitate a next generation IP platform
Initiate projects, process and technology for Network Operations improvements
Analyze history of network related incidents and perform preventive measures
Foster troubleshooting skills, tools and best practices on network related issues and communicate with customers and senior management
Select and manage Network hardware and software service providers
Develop operational processes that improve efficiencies and customer retention
Work with US and International Network Engineers to increase skill levels
Manage Network Change Requests via change control process
Qualifications & Requirements
B.S. in Engineering or related discipline preferred
Proven leadership capabilities in a fast-paced, dynamic, production environment
10+ years of experience, Cisco certified CCNA engineer, (CCIE and CCNP desired.) ITIL certification desired
5+ years of demonstrated team leadership success with an exceptionally strong data-driven analytical approach towards solving complex challenges
5+ years of experience on a service provider network in engineering or operations roles
Experience with architecture and implementations of solutions involving large data centers, interoffice routing plans, site2site VPNs, FWs, IPSec, monitoring, etc.
Hands-on skills for Cisco IOS and Nexus OS are a must
Documenting solutions with diagrams and proper description is a must
Knowledge and experience in managing Cisco Nexus 7k/5k/2k, Cisco ASA 5585 firewalls, ASR 1000 and 2000 Routers, 3750 and 4900 Switches, SSL-VPN, authentication servers, F5 load balancer, and Palo Alto Networks
Experience with incident response, information assurance, computer security best practices, system hardening, vulnerability management, antivirus, firewalls, IPS/IDS monitoring, and techniques for analyzing TCP/IP network traffic and event logs
Demonstrate knowledge of platform operating systems (router platforms, LAN, WAN, and router protocols) MPLS, OSPF, and BGP, and how they interact with the network
Knowledge of Linux network functions
Saas/Cloud based software environment strongly desired
Project management skills a plus
