Virginia State University "Woo Woo" Cheerleaders
Posted By: A Dole on June 27, 2008 On June 20, The Virginia State University cheerleaders, the Woo Woos, go international as Parish Haynes and head cheerleading coach Paulette Walker-Johnson (right) travelled to Jamaica for a week-long cheerleading camp. The camp, arranged by the Rudy Johnson Foundation, will allow Haynes and Walker-Johnson to travel to several Jamaican cities and teach children how to become cheerleaders. The Woo Woos have been nationally known and the class of the CIAA cheerleading squad for almost three decades while under the directorship of Coach Walker-Johnson.
