Delaware State University Concert Band To Present Winter Solstice concert
Posted By: Reginald Culpepper on November 22, 2022 The Delaware State University Concert Band will celebrate the holiday season with two “Winter Solstice” concerts on Dec. 1-2 on campus and in Downtown Dover. Both concerts are free and open to the public. The Concert Band will give a 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 performance in the Education and Humanities Theatre on campus. While open to the public, the band has invited area elementary, middle and high school students to this concert. The second concert will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 at the University’s Schwartz Center for the Art in Downtown Dover at 226 S. State St. Each concert will present selections that appeal to kids of all ages.
