Juan Scott (Central State) was named the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Male Track Athlete of the Week along with teammate Darin Gooch who was tabbed the Male Field Athlete of the Week, announced on Friday by the league office.

Scott, a freshman from Dayton, Ohio ran a personal best time of 14.00 to win the 110-meter hurdles at the All-Ohio Championships. On his way to victory, Scott edged Division I competition from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio State University and Miami (Ohio) University.
