(HAMPTON, Va.) The CIAA Sports Information Directors Association selected senior Delano Johnson[1] and Bulldogs Head Coach Damon Wilson[2] as conference Linebacker andCoach of the Week respectively for Week Two.


Johnson paced the Bulldogs' defense with a team-high eight tackles and recovered one fumble in Bowie State's 31-14 victory against Benedict College.


Coach Wilson is in his third season at the helm of the Bulldogsprogram and has the team offto a 2-0 overall record (1-0 in theCIAA).


Bowie State will host Livingstone College this Saturday (9/17) for Homecoming2011. Game time for the Bulldogs and Blue Bears is1 pm.
