Illinois Early Childhood Fellowship

Illinois Early Childhood Fellowship
Posted By: Jon C. on February 23, 2009

Seeking outstanding candidates with a flair for leading, passion for improving the lives of children, and strong communication skills.

Does this sound like you? Then read on…

The Illinois Early Childhood Fellowship (the Fellowship) will place diverse emerging or career-changing leaders for 2 years in organizations in the Chicago metropolitan area that play pivotal roles in advocating for strong public policy and programs for young children.

The Fellowship will provide exciting opportunities to learn, lead, and network with accomplished strategists and advocates.

Those selected will learn about major players and issues in early childhood, develop and run projects, learn how effective organizations are managed, and work with remarkable mentors. Fellows will be paid a good salary of $55,000/year and benefits.

This new Fellowship will provide rich opportunities to nurture up and coming leaders in the field of early childhood care and education.

We hope you’ll consider this extraordinary opportunity.

Fellow applications are due on May 15, 2009. The Fellowships will begin August 3, 2009 and run through June 30, 2011.
